MPS — Mittelalterlich Phantasie Spectaculum is a travelling German medieval-fantasy festival mixing medieval markets, music, knights, fire shows, camps, crafts, food, and fantasy performances. Rather than being strictly historical, MPS is known for its colourful “not authentic, but fantastic” atmosphere, with bands, traders, reenactors, and costumed visitors creating a large open-air medieval world across different German locations.
