Mercado Medieval de Óbidos

Mercado Medieval de Óbidos transforms the walled town and castle area of Óbidos into a medieval world of knights, merchants, music, theatre, food, crafts, and costumed performances. Set beneath the castle walls, the festival recreates the atmosphere of medieval Portugal with markets, shows, historical characters, and lively street entertainment throughout the old town. The 2026 edition runs from 16–26 July at Cerca do Castelo, Óbidos.
